The Skids are celebrating their third studio album, ‘The Absolute Game,’ which was their most commercially successful album, reaching #9 in the UK album charts.
‘The Absolute Game’ featured the singles ‘Circus Games’, ‘Goodbye Civilian’ and ‘Woman in Winter’.
The Skids are a punk/new wave band who formed in Dunfermline, Scotland, in 1977. They went on to have 10 singles in the UK charts, including ‘Into The Valley’, ‘The Saints Are Coming’ (later covered by U2 and Green Day), ‘Masquerade’, ‘Working For The Yankee Dollar’, ‘Animation’ and ‘Charade’.
