About Stop Making Sense – Standing Gig Film Screening / DJ Set
Hailed by many as the greatest concert film of all time, Stop Making Sense (1984) is a frantic, fun, and freaky snapshot of Talking Heads at their uncategorisable best. Directed by Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia) and filmed over three nights at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, it captures not just the music but a spectacle of human interplay, movement, and surreal theatre.
Join us for an afterparty with DJs Pako Vega and Ravelston spinning Talking Heads inspired tunes!
**Please note this entire event takes place at Leith FAB Cricket Club and is a standing gig / film screening. Film screens at 7.45pm. Cards accepted at the bar, but cash preferred! Cash-only tickets on the door.**
