Singer songwriter Madeline Tully poetically captures today’s zeitgeist and presents it through varying modern folk styles. Joined by her band.
Gordon Mcgruer
From an emerging Edinburgh alt-folk scene, Gordon McGruer will bring an earnest voice and his dry sensibilities to sing of drunk magicians, birds making love and adaptations of his dad’s poetry.
Ella May McKay is a compelling guitarist and singer, influenced by traditional and modern folk from Scotland and the US, as well as blues and post-punk. Her live performance offers a quietly electric atmosphere, with the intricacies of her sometimes sad, sometimes cheeky song-writing highlighted by a delicate but powerful voice, and ornate guitar playing.
Michael Steele
Singer songwriter from Edinburgh. Michael plays strange, rhythmic, ambient folk. With some electronic elements.
