Deep Excursions marks its 11th year with a change of direction — shifting to daytime parties at People’s Leisure Club.
Having officially opened in September, this exciting new venue is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of Edinburgh’s standout spaces.
With a newly installed d&b sound system and an intimate 200-capacity basement setting, it’s the ideal choice for this new chapter. Joining resident Stephen Rodgers for the first daytime instalment are two of Edinburgh’s most talented and respected electronic music figures in the form of Linkwood and Craig Smith.
For decades, both DJs have been at the heart of the city’s underground scene while also performing at some of the best clubs across the world. Highly acclaimed producers and impeccable selectors in their own right, the quality and consistency of their output reflect a deep understanding of music across a wide range of genres and eras.
